Ray Hulands

Growing up Ray had always been intrigued by the human body and how it works, particularly the muscles, and Ray had always wanted to become a massage therapist. Ray now has over 20yrs experience in the massage industry. Starting out by helping his team mates with their soft tissue issues whilst playing AFL, Ray developed an interest in the sporting aspect of massage and the benefits it gave to not only sporting men and women but the wider population.

Ray specialises in soft tissue therapy, sports massage and deep tissue massage and delivers a unique personalised treatment.

Ray has worked for, & alongside therapists previously from the AIS & ACT Academy of Sport. From this work he has gained much experience and knowledge in soft tissue therapy and addressing the cause of problems, not just the symptom, by looking at the body's biomechanics.

Ray has worked with:-

- Numerous NRL clubs as well as the Kangaroos, the English Rugby League team and the Tonga Rugby League team

- The NSW Waratahs, the Wallabies, Springboks and All Blacks in rugby union

- NSW Cricket

- Australian mens hockey team

- The cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert

- The cast of Titanic

- The cast of Phantom of the Opera

- Members of Opera Australia

- Numerous TV personalities and high profile identities

"As a broken down dancer with the hypermobility and an injury tally to show for it, add in back surgery and a job that required endless sitting, and you get dysfunctional joints, pain and discomfort on a regular basis. But deep tissue massage is a magic fix. Better than drugs and more healing than physio or osteopathic alone. Ray has rare specialists skills and I was never physically more able or pain free than when under his care."

Kristin M. Consultant

"Ray was our official company masseur on Priscilla Queen of the Desert the musical for a year in Sydney. His skill and expertise helped me and many others maintain strength and fitness and heal quickly after injury. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone."
